It was super symbolic as it was literally what Isla was saying all along, but rather than him disappearing, it was her.

Him losing Isla, disappearing into the darkness behind them and him being left behind. Later on in that same first episode, Tsukasa's nightmares are shown. It starts off with him acting all happy with Sara, but you could feel that he was actually thinking about something else. It's a complete twist from Tsukasa being the happiest person, only crying once in front of Isla to him getting into a deep depression. Holy moly, if season 1 was good, this is godly. With that out of the way, I will be talking about the season, even though I know there's only 4 episodes. I will be talking about the entire season and how it made me feel.
